From 12 March 2018: mixed appointment/ walk-in service

• From 12 March 2018, our doctors will share the roster.
  
• There will be two doctors offering appointments, and one doctor on duty for walk-ins, over each day.

Our trial of appointments, in response to patient request, has been an enormous success. Patients are very happy with reduced waiting times and guaranteed access to the doctor of their choice at the time of their choice.

From 12 March 2018, we will be altering our doctors’ roster to increase the number of appointments. Many of you have told us that you still value the walk-in option and we will always have one doctor rostered to see walk-in patients.

Each day we will have one doctor on duty for walk-in patients only, and two doctors seeing appointments only. We ask for your patience whilst we work towards the best options for you.  You will be able to see who is on duty for walk-in patients on our roster on our website. The roster will vary from day to day.

If you want to see your preferred doctor, please make an appointment with that doctor via our portal or by phoning reception. To enrol on the portal please ask our reception team.

We understand that the change may be unsettling in the beginning, but our aim remains a better service for our patients. We value your feedback.
