Dr. Paul Norton

Locum GP
MBChB, FRNZCGP

Usual Session Times

Paul is a locum at Ellerslie Medical Centre so please see the roster.

Paul started working as a locum GP at Ellerslie in 2014 after he moved from Kapiti to Auckland to be closer to his grandchildren. His locum role sees him at EMC for periods of 2-6 weeks every 2-3 months or so, allowing a member of the regular doctor team to take leave to spend time with family, recharge the batteries or attend educational events. We are extremely lucky to have his contribution to our team, and appreciate his depth of knowledge and experience very much.  Paul shares the commitment to high quality care offered by the general practice team here at Ellerslie. His clinical interests are diverse and include general medicine (conditions of the heart, lungs, bowels, kidneys, liver, joints etc), paediatrics, men’s health, mental health, musculo-skeletal conditions and family medicine.

When not at work Paul enjoys sailing, paddleboarding and playing with his grand-daughters.
